BGF Foundation grant round 2024/25

The BGF Foundation shares BGF’s philosophy of “good growth.” BGF provides long-term, minority investment and value creation support to growing companies. The BGF Foundation provides multi-year, flexible funding and pro bono expertise to growing charities who support young people.

We want to help ambitious charities to grow, improve their resilience, and increase their impact.

We support registered charities with an income between £1m-£3m who improve the life outcomes of disadvantaged young people in the areas of enterprise, education, employment, mental health or physical wellbeing.

We are accepting expressions of interest until 5pm on Friday 29 November. We have a two-stage application process. Charities that are shortlisted from the expression of interest stage will be invited to submit a full application.

Please complete and submit this form by November 29 at 5pm.

Please note that the BGF Foundation has limited funds, and we anticipate receiving more applications than we can support. While we promise to carefully review every submission, please be aware that eligibility does not guarantee funding. We hope our guidance information is helpful in determining whether to apply and in shaping a strong application.

We recognise that demand often exceeds available resources, and that accessing funding can sometimes feel challenging. To ensure fairness and help charities allocate the right amount of time and effort, we aim to be as transparent as possible. Grants will be £100k, distributed over two years. We expect to award 4-5 grants in this round. By proactively sharing this information, we hope you can better assess the level of resource to dedicate to this potential award and plan accordingly.

If you have any questions, or are unsure about your eligibility to apply, please contact us at: info@bgffoundation.org.uk.
